What is lynda.com?
Lynda.com provides a vast online library of instructional videos covering the latest software, creative, and business skills. Taught by accomplished teachers and recognized industry experts, lynda.com is a high-quality resource for faculty and staff looking to develop skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, project management, and a wide range of other topics.
How do I access lynda.com?
- Navigate to the my.spelman.edu portal and log in to your account.
- Select the menu tab that corresponds with your role at the college (faculty or staff tab).
- Click the lynda.com icon to be taken to the Lynda.com profile page.
- Complete the requested information for your profile.
- Begin searching for courses you would like to take.
How do I access lynda.com on my mobile device?
- Install the mobile application.
- Click Login.
- Choose the Organization tab.
- Type your full email address in the email field.
- Type www.spelman.edu in the Web Portal field.
- Click login.
- You will be redirected to mySpelman Portal. Login using your computer username and password. Once you have logged in to the portal, you will be redirected back to the lynda.com app.
